Hi Members, The 2012 invoices are out as of today via email. If you didn't receive one, please let me know. We could really do with the money early this year so prompt payments will be greatly appreciated! I went up the mountain last night. Everythings working really well up there. Cheers, Will

I'll be in Launceston for a rowing regatta the weekend of the AGM. If there's anyone going up for the meeting (and coming back that night) with a spare seat would you email me. It's an age since I was on the mountain and it would be good to catch up with everyone.

Hi all. I'm looking into the possibility of coming to the working bee on 17/18 March. Trip would involve a flight to Hobart and a lift to Ben from there on Friday or Saturday, and then a lift to Devonport on Sunday if there is anyone coming from that part of the woods. I can then catch up with my parents and fly back to Canberra from Devonport. If you can assist please send me an email.

Well from the Iceman Link I gather we lost the Sewage Farm Building during the week. Burned down. Sounds like Bellandena had a great Bash weekend with a Hot Tub special. Can we mount a Toorbunna Bash before the end of season. Adrian could organise the band and food. Anyone else could organise other activities throughout the day. The whole mountain would be invited to the bigesst BYO event on Ben. Would have to happen in the next couple of week ends. Get back to me.

Hi Roz, I will be heading up with a few friends that weekend as well, with or without snow. I think there will be six or seven of us, so plenty of room. Hope to see you up there.

Hi Sam. You need to stop repeating yourself. I am looking at heading up on Friday evening. Conditions do not look perfect but Ben should be skiable. Have to ski when the snow is available, this could be the last weekend of the season. Well maybe.

Hi Graham, I have found a number of our members up at Mt Mawson enjoying magnificant conditions. There is a huge amount of snow, Rodways would be running if they could find an extra ski patroller, maybe it will be tomorrow. If you want to stay up there then I suggest you call Fred.

Have just arrived back from a glorious weekend on Ben. Saturday we woke to perfect blue skies, no wind and dry snow, groomed slopes throughout, including the back slopes. Undoubtably the best skiing conditions this century so where were YOU. We presently have a Working Bee Levy which most of you appear to pay rather than attending a Working Bee. We are contemplating applying a Skiing Bee Levy for any member who has not skied on Ben for two consecutive seasons of skiable conditions. This will reduce our Carbon Footprint as Member body heat, would offset our Gas and Wood usage. Thus a No Ski Carbon Tax, this would make us better citizens and Toorbunna could boast to be a world leader in Ski Resort Footprint Reductin
